the lowdown
Encore Medical Education’s mission is to provide a quality education to the medical community. Therefore, they have very valuable documentation to offer to the different medical specialties.
Having all this information already compiled and organized, they only needed an app to be distributed at conferences and seminars so doctors could easily access to all the content.
the challenge
The challenge in this project was to turn the app into a recurring learning tool which doctors could fall back on every day.
We had to keep in mind that the users were doctors of all ages, many of them inexperienced in the use of mobile apps, so the solution had to be very simple and intuitive.
the solution
After collecting the necessary requirements with the client, we defined an optimal structure so the user could easily find what he wanted. We made the app to go from a simple catalog of information, as a consultation tool or even a specialized encyclopedia to do searches.
The client wanted to make sure that the user was assimilating and understanding the content offered by the app, so we created a quiz to test the concepts learned. The specialist can see the correct answer explanation and have access to related information if he wants to go further.
The application has a varied multimedia content such as videos and audios, as well as documents, access to websites, clinical cases, expert opinions, news, etc.
The result is a simple and easy app, with a very varied content ready to be distributed to different partners.
