Keeping in mind the client’s objective – to create a mobile solution with live streaming without the need for other devices – the first requirement for this project was to validate the technical viability of the idea. For that purpose, we carried out a proof of concept with the goal of demonstrating whether or not the idea was viable from a technical standpoint.

Once this empirical exercise allowed us to understand how the solution would operate, we defined objectives to move forward with the next steps. Thus, we began with a usability study or UX research process on the app’s target audience, in order to achieve an impactful, user-focused product.

The developed solution allows the tourist to follow the visit from their mobile, saving on the use and management of external devices. It also allows them to locate the guide and access information about the visit and the route, things that drastically improve the user experience when compared to traditional solutions.

Thanks to the creation of a backend or custom content manager, On Guide can autonomously include new companies and trace personalized routes according to the demands of each client. The developed product also includes a website to facilitate app downloads from the Apple or Google Play stores and allows On Guide’s clients to log onto the content manager.
