Músicos por la salud is an NGO that promotes the use of music in hospitals, with the aim of improving the mood of patients.

They firmly believe that music contributes to improving the well-being of patients, those who are ill, and residents in care centers. With this in mind, they have partnered with musicians and hospitals to provide free concerts to patients in need.

Unfortunately, not all patients can attend these events due to the severity of their condition, transportation issues, or other limitations. Therefore, they needed a tool to reach all those patients facing these challenges.

the challenge

We needed to create an easy and accessible app so that any patient could virtually attend the concerts offered by Músicos por la Salud.

The app allows patients to connect remotely, while also providing musicians with tools to manage and coordinate events, creating a direct connection between them.

the solution

We designed an accessible and very simple app where users wouldn’t even need to enter a password—just their phone number. By verifying this information through a Management Portal (CMS, also developed by us), users can access the app seamlessly.

With the user’s phone number, we can identify whether they are a musician or a patient. Based on this, the app will display the appropriate main interface.

Both musicians and patients can view upcoming concerts. The CMS allows for the registration of both users, as well as the creation and management of each concert.

Using Zoom, musicians can perform the concert live, and patients can watch it in real time. Additionally, the app provides the option to record the concert for future viewing, if desired.
