the lowdown

Cáritas carries out important work of support and social promotion for people in situations of precariousness and exclusion. To do this, they not only provide financial aid and food but also courses, jobs, assistance from agents, etc.

To do this, they need to gather these procedures in an application in which participant and agent communicate in an easy and simple way.

the challenge

Above all, our challenge was to develop a method to create groups of rules so the requested aid would pass a first automatic control to be aproved or rejected according to them.

Managing appointments for all agents with different schedules and times was also crucial to carry it out.

the solution

We have managed to develop a multi-tool app tailored to cover all the needs of each of the Diocesan Caritas that exists in Spain. Since it supports several languages, including Arabic, it is possible to read and navigate from right to left as well.

It is an app that covers a lot of functionality so the different roles play an important role in the backend task.

A lot of research and work has been done on the user experience and interface design to have a simple, intuitive, clear app that also follows the design system already defined by the brand itself.
