Therefore, all the web design was focused on the type of screen which the desktop offered. As the mobile come into play, these webs designed for the screens of our computers, had to squeezed onto a mobile browser with the difficulties that this entails.<\/p>\n<p>In the moment in which the access to the browsers is higher in mobile devices than in our computers, the focus changes and the priority is to optimise our website for the small screen, and then taking it to the desktop. This trend that gives priority to mobile devices over the computer is called Mobile First.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Why bet for a Mobile First strategy?<\/h2>\n<p>The growing trend of the mobile market is essential to understand this shift towards Mobile First. According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/ditrendia.es\/informe-mobile-2018\/\">Ditrendia Report on Mobile in Spain and in the World 2018<\/a>, mobile is the most popular device to access the internet, used by 97 % of the Spaniards. The mobile is also at the top in Spain in visiting social networks, using the search engine, playing games, watching videos and searching for product information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2537\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2537\" style=\"width: 750px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2537\" src=\"https:\/\/mobivery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Screen-Shot-2018-10-10-at-15.08.55.png\" alt=\"mobile first-mobile habits\" width=\"750\" height=\"219\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2537\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Data by ditrendia Mobile Report in Spain and the World 2018<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The habits of mobile consumption in Spain leave no stone unturned that pursuing <em>Mobile First as a strategy for our business is the best option.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Mobile First and Ecommerce<\/h2>\n<p>According to the mentioned report of ditrendia, 58.9 % of digital sales in the world are already made through mobile devices. Therefore, a Mobile First strategy is <a href=\"https:\/\/mobivery.com\/en\/10-reasons-why-apps-have-conquered-the-top-of-the-e-commerce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">essential in the ecommerce sector.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We must bring into focus to include the necessary functionalities in an intuitive way in both websites and apps.<\/p>\n<p>For Google, we are in the era of consumer search obsession. And <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thinkwithgoogle.com\/intl\/es-es\/insights\/el-m\u00f3vil-l%C3%ADder-en-el-consumo-de-internet\/\">according to their data<\/a>, this behavior has grown in mobile devices by 80 % in the last two years. The Mobile First strategy must be present in everyday searches to reach our potential buyers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Mobile First and apps<\/h2>\n<p>Even though we said that the concept of Mobile First was born in the webs, nowadays this strategy can not put mobile applications aside.
